I work for a number of reasons. Money is the most obvious but also because it suits my nature. Sometimes I enjoy it. Lots of the time I am bored. But I am good at it. It isn't just opening my legs and letting the cock slide in. it is getting the man turned on. It is not letting such close contact with a stranger phase you. It is understanding your clients.
Most of the fucks are predictable but I guess about 1 in 10 is special. I click with the guy and we really enjoy it. He can bring out the sex slut in me or do something new.
Also my husband is turned on by me being a whore - and that is an encouragement.
