Excitement in our family certainly rose over the week when Annette announced that she was having contractions (at about 1am). Our planning was tested as we rushed her off to the hospital. I had to stay back to look after our daughter – I would have gone in the morning but at about 6am, John and Annette were back – they were Braxton-Hicks contractions but the time is drawing near and at 36 weeks, it won’t be long now we are all getting excited.
