The big story going around the Asian brothels at the moment is the arrest of a Korean madam and her assistants - not sure of the exact details but it sounds like they made the girls work very long shifts and held their passports. Rumours are all over the place and a lot of girls are nervous that the police are going to raid where I work - but I don't think that it is a high risk: the girls are, I believe, all working of their own free will and they can go any time.
I said earlier that I had heard of these type of places but they do not employ girls like me who are free to come and go. I know of a couple of Korean places where they don't hire non-Koreans. But it is funny how little actual details I have heard - anyone have good gossip?
It does seem this week is busier. I have been non-stop busy the last few shifts. I had 10 guys in an 8 hour shift yesterday and could have had one more if I had not had to finish at 5pm.
I am glad they are catching the exploiters this time but hope the girls aren't bullied too much by the police.
